Kam's Dragonfruit Açaí Bowl
A smoothie bowl lives or dies by its texture, and the trick here is very little milk so the base stays thick enough to hold a pile of toppings. Frozen fruit and açaí do the rest.

Method
- 1
Pop your serving bowl in the freezer so it's chilled for scooping.
- 2
Break the frozen açaí packs (200 g total) into chunks so they blend easily.
- 3
Pour the oat milk into the blender first, then add the açaí chunks, frozen banana, frozen blueberries and frozen mango.
- 4
Blend on low, pushing the fruit down with the tamper or stopping to stir. If it won't move, add more oat milk a tablespoon at a time.
- 5
Stop as soon as it's smooth and thick like soft serve, then scoop it into your chilled bowl.
- 6
Slice the half banana and pitt and chop the Medjool dates if you haven't already.
- 7
Top with the banana slices, dates, granola and 1 tbsp cacao nibs, then drizzle with the nut butter. Eat right away.
- Use as little milk as you can. A thick base is what holds the toppings up.
- Any thick smoothie can become a bowl the same way: keep the milk to 1/3 to 1/2 cup and blend just until smooth.
