Privacy Policy

• Account details: your email address and the name you give us.
• Your plan and preferences: what you tell us in the intake, such as your goal, schedule, kitchen, household and kids' ages, foods to avoid, and, if you choose to share them, body details like age, height, weight, sex and activity level. We use these to calculate your protein and calorie targets.
• What you save and add: favorites, meal plans, shopping lists, custom proteins and foods, your own recipes and photos, reviews, ratings and likes.
• Contributions: the amount, date and whether it's monthly or one time. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and never reach our servers.
• Messages: anything you send through Help & feedback, and applications to be featured on PBB, including the photos and links you include.
• Usage: which recipes and profiles get viewed or tapped, counted so we can show what's popular and credit featured people. We also record which featured person referred you, if you arrived through their link.
• On your device: PBB stores your plan, favorites and settings in your browser so the platform works quickly and offline-friendly. If you have an account, these sync to it.

• To run PBB: your plan, targets, saved recipes, shopping lists and account.
• To process contributions and keep Plus access in sync.
• To review and publish recipes and profiles people choose to share.
• To answer your messages and improve the platform.
• To keep PBB safe, including preventing spam and abuse.
• To send account emails, such as sign-in links, password resets and receipts.

We use a small number of service providers. They only get what they need to do their job for us.

• Supabase: our database and accounts.
• Netlify: hosts the platform.
• Stripe: processes contributions and stores payment details.
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers it connects to: process content you send to AI features, such as recipe screenshots and text, and generate recipe photos.
• Google: we may use Google's services for business data, such as reporting tools.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect PBB or its users, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.

Your account, plan and private recipes are private. Things you choose to share are public: recipes you share with the community, reviews and ratings (shown with your first name), and featured profiles that you applied for and approved.

• Body details in the intake are optional. You can skip them or change them anytime.
• You can edit or delete your recipes, reviews and saved items.
• You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data.
• You can cancel a monthly contribution anytime from your account.

To make a request, send us a message through Help & feedback. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, except records we must keep, such as payment records for tax and accounting.

We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

PBB isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. Parents can add their kids' age ranges to a family plan; we don't collect children's names or contact details. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, tell us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and we'll let account holders know about significant changes.
