Method
- 1
Start the rice first, since it takes the longest. Cook enough so you end up with 1 cup of cooked rice.
- 2
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, or preheat your air fryer to 375°F if you'd rather use that.
- 3
Chop the broccoli into bite-size florets.
- 4
Toss the tofu with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and paprika until every piece is generously coated. Adjust the seasonings to your taste.
- 5
Cook the tofu until browned and slightly crispy. In a skillet, that's 8 to 10 minutes over medium-high heat, turning occasionally. In the air fryer, cook at 375°F for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- 6
While the tofu cooks, steam or cook the broccoli until tender.
- 7
Spoon the cooked rice into your bowls, then top with the broccoli and the crispy tofu.
- 8
Drizzle with G Hughes Sugar-Free Teriyaki Sauce to taste and mix everything together. Dig in.
- Swap the broccoli for any veggie you like, as long as it's cooked until tender.
- For a higher-protein bowl, choose Big Mountain Soy-Free Tofu as your protein.
- Leftovers keep well in the fridge, so pack extra bowls for lunch.
