Hot Dog Fried Rice
Hot dog fried rice is a beloved classic from Seoul to Manila for good reason. Seared coins of hot dog, peas, carrots and day-old rice get tossed hot in soy and sesame. It's cheap and fast, and kids and adults fight over the crispy bits.

Method
- 1
Finely dice the carrot, mince the garlic and slice the green onions.
- 2
Heat the oil in a large pan over high. Add the Smart Dogs, sliced into coins, and sear until blistered.
- 3
Add the carrot and garlic and cook a minute. Toss in the peas.
- 4
Add the rice, pressing it flat into the pan. Leave it alone to crisp, then toss.
- 5
Drizzle in the soy sauce and sesame oil, toss again, and finish with green onions.
Keeps 3 days. Reheat in a hot pan, not the microwave, to keep the crispy bits.
For little ones
Serve as is. Go easy on the sriracha in their portion.
